“Anna Sun” by Walk The Moon - A Stellar Song for Saturday

NME released a list of the 50 best new bands of 2011 (you can see it here: http://bit.ly/lMNoXg) this past week which has kept me quite busy as I have researched the featured groups.  One of my early favorite finds from the list is the band, Walk The Moon, an indie-rock band that hails from Cincinnati, Ohio.  The song you can listen to above, “Anna Sun”, is a perfect jam for summer, complete with a catchy chorus, upbeat electric guitar, and peppy percussion.  I love the optimistic line, “We got no money, but we got the heart/We’re gonna rattle this ghost town”.  The perfect words of wisdom for youngsters trying to make a positive mark in this world.  Walk The Moon has more stellar tunes to be found on its debut LP, I Want! I Want!.
