“Son Of A Gun” by Oh Land

Oh Land is the stage name of Copenhagen, Denmark native, Nanna Øland Fabricius.  I first learned of her music after reading NME’s list of the 50 best new bands of 2011 (http://bit.ly/lMNoXg).  The above tune, “Sun Of A Gun” is a song that I can’t help but listen to on repeat.  The chorus is ridiculously catchy and the background vocals and instrumentation, complete with finger snaps, provide the perfect accompaniment.  Her self-titled debut album is full of other pop gems, which I highly recommend you give a listen.  I am part Danish, so that may be another reason why Oh Land’s tunes have swept me off my feet.
