“Dig A Little Deeper” by Peter Bjorn and John

I first became a huge Peter Bjorn and John fan when their stellar album, Writer’s Block, was released in 2007.  As many others can attest to, I was first reeled in by the unbelievably catchy, “Young Folks”, but my love grew for such jamming tunes as “Amsterdam” and slower ballads as “Paris 2004”.  You would have been blown away by the frequency in which my friend Nia and I sang PB&J tunes in our high school classes.  Peter Bjorn and John’s most recent release, Gimme Some, may be their strongest release yet.  Such tunes as the one you can hear above, “Dig A Little Deeper”, have a new-found energy and impressive hook.  Whenever I hear “Dig A Little Deeper”, I envision myself dancing through Times Square on a sunny summer day.  I greatly look forward to hearing these new tunes live when I see Peter Bjorn and John in Philadelphia at The Trocadero on September 10th!
